RM of Arborfield’s story
The Rural Municipality of Arborfield No. 456 became an incorporated rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in northeastern Saskatchewan and surrounds the Town of Arborfield, where the RM office is located, as well as the Village of Zenon Park. The unincorporated locality of Jordan River is also within its boundaries.
Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of each month. Pasquia Regional Park is the area's listed attraction, and Highways 23, 335, 679 and 690 serve the municipality, along with the Arborfield Airport.
